#3 It's time to make a game about making games


Hello world! (again)

Ok, here we go again. I accidentally refreshed the page when writing the devlog so I will try to recreate it as much as possible. We are very happy to announce that our game has finished the prototyping phase and is ready to enter production, which makes us very excited for the coming weeks and we hope that you are as excited as us.

Art

In the art department our artists have worked on the art bible, creating a consistent and unique style for our game and designing the level in a fun and challenging way. I will not bore you out with text and since a picture is worth a thousands words, here are some sneak peeks into the concept art! 

Code

Our programmers worked tirelessly on finishing the prototype and having a rough idea on how our game will feel like. We think we are in the right direction because we have been catching ourselves playing the game more than we should have. Besides that, we made the decision to incorporate local co-op on one keyboard just like the good old days so that we can bring more people together with our game!


Sound

Sound? What sound?

In the sound department (one person) we finished every documentation needed for the sound, made a comprehensive list of everything that needs to be done and then assisted in the other departments since sound is not really that important at this point in the pipeline and there is no point for our artists or programmers to waste their time on doing mundane tasks.
